Beverly Park Place, one of three Hillcrest Healthcare communities in Knoxville, has been recognized as the No. 6 top nursing home in Tennessee on Newsweek’s Best Nursing Homes 2022 list.
The prestigious list, presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, highlighted the country’s top 450 nursing homes out of 11,849 analyzed. The facilities are evaluated using key performance data, peer recommendations and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the third time that Beverly Park Place has earned the national recognition.
“Being named to the Newsweek Best Nursing Homes 2022 reflects Hillcrest Healthcare’s continued commitment to our Beverly Park Place residents and their families,” said Barry Davis, CEO of Hillcrest Healthcare. “Our administration and staff have worked tirelessly to provide quality care and support, ensuring that we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic better than we were before. This ranking reflects the work of the entire Hillcrest Healthcare family and our healthcare community partners.”
Located at 5321 Beverly Park Circle in North Knoxville, Beverly Park Place provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation services and Alzheimer’s and dementia care at its 271-bed facility and is the largest of Hillcrest Healthcare’s three communities.
According to Newsweek’s website, “Statista invited over 10,000 medical experts (registered nurses, nursing home managers and administrators, licensed practical nurses/licensed vocational nurses, nursing assistants, therapists and physicians) to an online survey.”
The Best Nursing Homes 2022 ranking, which was announced earlier this fall, lists the best nursing homes in the 25 states with the highest population size according to the U.S. Census Bureau. These states include Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
