With ever-increasing demands on long-term care and new protocols due to COVID-19, Hillcrest Healthcare is increasing staffing to maintain enhanced standards for many areas, including infection control and cleaning. With limitations on outside visitors, we have an increased need to assist our patients and residents with additional enrichment and connection, including technology visits with their loved ones.
As we grow, we’re offering some short-term incentives to join our team and will continue to offer incentive programs to both new and current employees for certain positions as needs arise.
For example, we’re offering hiring bonuses for both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) while available. Bonuses for new RNs ($2,500) and LPNs ($1,500) will be disbursed in three parts from date of hire through six months. Additionally, our existing associates will receive referral bonuses while available for bringing in new associates.
We’ve restructured our base starting pay for Certified Nursing Assistants CNAs to $13 an hour, with additional wages available depending on experience.
